Having holiday is time to have fun. But even when it is time to have a lot of fun, doesn’t mean that you have to put aside health and safety factors. In fact those are the most important factors that make your holiday either great or just a waste. Here are some health and safety tips you should consider in any holiday trip you may take.
Sunburn
This is the most common thing happen to traveler during their exotic beach visit. Never forget to apply sunblock anytime you travel. Apply it mostly in raised area like tops of feet, thighs, lips, nose, forehead, backs of calves, arms, bottom and shoulders. Be careful to re-apply sun lotion after prolonged periods in the water, there is no 100% waterproof sun cream! A t-shirt is the equivalent of sun-factor 25. This means you can stay in the sun 25 times longer with a t-shirt on than without but you will still get burnt after a while! If it is too late for you and you have already had the sunburn, you need vinegar. The colder the better, applied over the sore areas will soothe and prevent peeling. Never scrub a burned skin.
Sore Throat and Dizziness
It is always sound nice to have a glass of a freezing cold iced drinks, but doing so can cause severe temperature clashes in your system, resulting in the above symptoms. As these are seldom felt till many hours later, possibly after a meal, it is easy to wrongly blame the food! Therefore if you are happen to be in hot place drink regular water first. And if your body has cooled down, then you can have iced drinks. Remember, a body temperature drink in the sun; an iced drinks once you’ve cooled down in the shade
Passport and safety
If you are traveling aboard, then your passport will be essentials for you. For any case might happen, please make note of your passport number and details, travelers cheque numbers and holiday insurance documents. Keep this note away from the original. So if something happen to the original one, you still have the important details with you. One more thing you should notice is that never leave your bag unattended. Take only what you need when going out, leaving the rest, in an insured safety deposit box at your accommodation.
Have a good time in our holiday, let no bad thing happen during the time. Prepare for everything needed and have a blast.
