If you want to travel with airplane and want to bring your pet, there are some tips to make the trip comfortable and safe for your lovely pet. It is important to remember that long international flights can be as hard on your dog as they are on you. If you have long layovers, think about checking your pet to that destination and picking it up. Usually, there are many European airports which will allow you to walk with your pet on a leash – so use the nice break for the dog to get out and walk and be with you.
In your handbag, bring the care kit, such as bottled tap water, baby wipes, a small brush for drool mats, and a cookie or treat. Then, place a shirt or some socks that have been well worn by you in your pet’s carrier. This is a great comforting thing for them. If you’ll be staying overseas for a while, try to stick to your routine as much as possible. Give your pet the similar food as they usually had at home. You can always take the advantage of the allowance of well-behaved dogs inside. All of this can be fun if you had planned ahead before going, do not buy your carrier or plane tickets at the last minute. Get the specific information from the airline about traveling with dog, because not all airlines charge the same amount for the same size dog and costs can be high.
